Description
Lotus is a plant that blooms in bodies of water such as lakes and rivers. Medicine is produced from the flowers, seeds, leaves, and sections of the subterranean stem (rhizome). It grows in diverse elements of East Africa and Southeast Asia. Nymphaea lotus var. thermalis become believed to be a Tertiary relict range endemic to the thermal waters of Europe, for example, the Peţa River in Romania. DNA evaluation has concluded that Nymphaea lotus var. thermalis lacks specialty from Nymphaea lotus and consequently can not be categorised as a relic population
