Description
Goldenseal (Hydrastis canadensis) is a perennial herb native to eastern North America. Its roots and leaves have been used in traditional herb that people have used it for a long time.The plant grows in moist woods and damp meadows, reaching heights of 10-30 inches with green, lobed leaves during the summertime. The May and June flowers are solitary, small, and white or rose-colored, followed by small raspberry-like berries containing many two-seeded drupes.As for usage, here’s how to prepare goldenseal:
Infusion:
- Take 1 tablespoons of dried goldenseal root.
- Place the herb in a cup or teapot.
- Pour hot water over it and cover with a lid for 10-15 minutes.
- Strain the liquid to remove the herb.
- Enjoy your herbal tea, which contains antioxidants, enzymes, vitamins, flavoring, and volatile oils.
Capsule: Obtain Gelatin capsule size 00 and fill the empty capsules.
Tips:
- Sweeten your herbal tea with honey, natural fruit juice, stevia leaves powder, or licorice root powder.
