Description

Despite its striking beauty, farmers always view cornflowers as unwanted weeds because they take nutrients from the soil that corn needs to grow. The blooms are fertilized by bees, flies, lepidoptera, and the blossoms themselves. The flowers have both male and female organs. The plant can reproduce itself.
