Description
Black cohosh (Actaea racemosa or Cimicifuga racemosa) is a flowering perennial plant native to Eastern parts of the United States and Canada. It goes by various names, including black bugbane, black snakeroot, baneberry, and bug root. Traditionally, its flowers and roots were used in Native American medicine, and today it’s a popular women’s health supplement.
How to Prepare Herbal Tea (Hot Infusion):
- Add 1 tablespoon of dried Black Cohosh root to 1and half cup of water in a saucepan.
- Bring the water to a boil, then reduce the heat and simmer for 10 minutes.
- Strain the liquid to remove the herb.
- Enjoy your herbal tea!
