Description
Chicory root has a mild laxative effect. People use chicory for liver, hearth health, constipation, and many other conditions. but there is no good scientific evidence to support these uses.
Don’t confuse chicory with inulin. Inulin is a compound found in chicory, but they are not the same thing.
